Dawn Inspire Internship Program interns will benefit from:

As a member of our Human Resources team, the Human Resources Intern will discover a rewarding, cross-functional internship experience focused on empowering our Team Members.

Work Eligibility & Travel Requirements:Hybrid internship - 3 days a week onsite at our Jackson, Michigan Home Office.

Interns will be required to be on-site at the Corporate Jackson office from May 18 - May 21 for onboarding, and from August 4 - 7 for final presentations. These are mandatory in-person participation dates for the internship program.

What Does It Take to be a People Intern at Dawn Foods?

Below are the minimum qualifications for the Dawn Foods Inspire Internship Program.

• Must be pursuing a relevant bachelor's or master's degree (i.e., Human Resources, Labor Relations, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related discipline).
• The candidate must be entering their junior year or beyond.
• Current academic status must reflect good performance in relation to institutional academic standards.
• Basic knowledge of relevant concepts, principles and tools as demonstrated by completion of relevant coursework.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Adaptability and willingness to embrace feedback and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

• Coordinate and deliver assigned project work.
• Conduct research on assigned People projects and present potential solutions to the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Team Members to brainstorm ideas and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
• Shadow and learn from experienced professionals in your field of interest.
• Actively seek opportunities to learn and develop new skills relevant to your career goals.
• Take the initiative to suggest process improvements and contribute innovative ideas.
• Contribute a unique perspective and input to ongoing Human Resources initiatives.
• Demonstrate the "Dawn Values" of Team Dawn and support our culture throughout the duration of the Internship Program.
• Identified projects that you will be responsible for, including, but not limited to:
  
  
  
  • Centralizing our resources and toolkits to support the Human Resource team alignment, as well as providing a central resource for Team Members
  • Partner with People Team members on a global optimization project
  • Partner with PBPs to evaluate critical data within functional teams

Compensation

Undergraduate - $26/hr

Graduate - $28/hr
