What you'll do:

As a Core Deposit Systems Administrator, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of banking systems. You'll work with vendors as needed to handle escalations, system updates, and bank initiatives making sure that requests are followed up in a timely manner. Additionally, you'll collaborate with other systems administrators within Banking Operations, the IT department, and other departments. You'll leverage experience with bank systems such as FIS, IBS, Teller Insight, FCM, SRM, or similar bank systems for medium to large banks to execute initiatives.
  • Support banking applications and their dependencies. This includes requirements gathering, supporting solutions, installation, configuration, administration, designing, building, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining simple to complex applications.
  • Support solution delivery lifecycle including detailing requirements, and features, collaborating with IT developers, vendors, business teams, and implementation teams, supporting testing efforts, facilitating business testing, and supporting deployment efforts.
  • Participate in the Change Management process for the applications. Review current documentation, including policies and procedures for the applications, and update as appropriate. Involved with support activities for existing solutions, including regular business interactions, and facilitating the delivery of improvements and bug fixes as required.
  • Provide training to Banking System Administrators when needed. Collaborate closely with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues and understand overlaps of teams and applications.

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of related experience in Banking Systems Operations, IT--App Support or systems experience within the financial services industry.
  • 3+ years experience in application support, professional services, and/or QA.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate understanding of incident management processes, including root cause analysis and documentation.
  • Intermediate knowledge of core banking systems, preferably FIS banking core systems including IBS, Teller Insight, SRM, and FTM.
  • Entry level to intermediate experience translating business needs into system requirements and configurations.
  • Entry level to intermediate experience knowledge of problem management processes.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of and experience with lean processes improvement.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $88,430.00 - $109,236.00 for Las Vegas, NV. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
