Location: Colorado Springs, CO (United States Air Force Acacemy)

Type: Exempt

Work Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 Annually, dependent on experience

Tessera is seeking a confident and detail-driven Work Control Supervisor to lead maintenance tracking and service coordination at USAFA. Your skills in Maximo and NEXGEN will be valued, your leadership respected, and your impact felt every day.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

Core Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of AbilityOne and SourceAmerica programs.
  • Uphold and embody Tessera's core values.
  • Align team goals with Tessera's value proposition, ensuring highly engaged employees contribute to customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and mitigate safety hazards on job sites through effective risk controls and utilize Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA).
  • Conduct root cause analyses to promote a safe working environment and maintain adherence to Tessera's Accident Reporting process.
  • Foster positive client interactions using effective interpersonal skills, demonstrating respect, empathy, and responsiveness.

Essential Duites:

  • Manage accurate data entry of work orders, labor hours, and T/A records in Maximo and NEXGEN, ensuring compliance with USAF and AFCEC standards.
  • Coordinate with CE teams to submit Maintenance Readiness Reports, PM schedules, and asset plans per AFI 32-1001.
  • Oversee full lifecycle of work orders and maintain data integrity for facility assets and infrastructure.
  • Generate production control reports to support resource planning, trend analysis, and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as liaison with the COR to manage work order priorities, extensions, and contract compliance.
  • Lead and train Production Control Clerks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and Tessera policies.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and maintain HR documentation in line with federal and contract requirements.
  • Continuously improve work control processes using AFCEC benchmarks and industry best practices.
  • Maintain strong relationships with USAFA personnel and uphold Tessera's values of professionalism and inclusion.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in work control, production control, or facility maintenance operations
  • Certifications (Preferred): Facility Management Professional (FMP) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Maximo or NEXGEN System Administrator Training
  • Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance workflows, including coordination with CE shops (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural)
  • Ability to analyze workload trends and forecast labor requirements to support mission-critical operations and seasonal demands.
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with USAFA personnel, CE leadership, and external contractors.

  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
