THE ROLE Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a/an Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. In this role, you will support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization by working hands-on in process improvement, data analysis, and project coordination within the business and manufacturing environment. What You'll Do *Complete a Six Sigma project at local manufacturing site using the DMAIC or Lean methodology. *Assist in the delivery of Six Sigma Training. *Design and trial engagement strategies to improve the effectiveness of online training delivery. *Leverage Power BI to create a report that highlights incorrect response trends for various Six Sigma and OpEx exams, enabling data-driven evaluation of training effectiveness. *Create a process including a naming format and repository to capture closed and active six sigma projects. What We Seek *Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks. *Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Power BI, Minitab, and/or JMP is a plus. *Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year *Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. *Graduation year 2026 (senior), 2027 (junior), or 2028 (sophomore) Eligibility *Must be a currently enrolled student *Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June. *Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Role will require co-op to visit the production facility and move about the manufacturing floor in support of project activities.
