THE ROLE Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a/an Continuous Improvement Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. The Continuous Improvement Co-Op will work alongside CI and Operations professionals to support projects with low cost and risk for a single site/location for the Advanced Purity Solutions (APS) Division of Entegris. The intent of this role is to allow individuals to be exposed to the technical and management aspects of engineering and continuous improvement, while beginning to develop an interest for longer term career aspirations. What You'll Do *Gain an understanding of the plant, process, and equipment by working with a diverse group of functional areas on such projects as: efficiency issues and waste reduction. *Work with a diverse group of cross - functional areas such as safety, maintenance, process engineering, and operations. *Communicate with people diverse in language ability, educational levels, and experience. *Implement 5S initiatives in a specified area in Chaska operation floor *Participate in focused kaizen projects to eliminate rework and waste *Support and enhance problem solving at the daily tier meetings What We Seek *Proven ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures *Basic understanding of continuous improvement principles. *Strong time management skills. Flexible and accountable to support needs of operations. *Professional and positive communication skills and able to work well in group settings. *Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required. Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year *Pursuing B.S. Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering *Preferred graduation dates: Summer, Fall 2026 or Spring, Summer, Fall 2027 - 2028 Eligibility *Must be a currently enrolled student *Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June. *Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolonged periods at a desk using a computer. The ability to lift objects, equipment, or materials is a common requirement. The weight can range from 10-50 pounds.
