| Chord Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our dynamic team. The IT Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and optimal performance. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience in Windows Server, virtual, storage, and cloud technologies. The position reports to the IT Infrastructure Manager and is located in downtown Houston, TX.Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience. Essential Job Functions 
 Manage and maintain the organization's Windows Server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshootingOversee the virtualization environment using VMware, ensuring efficient resource allocation, performance optimization, and timely issue resolutionDesign, implement, and support storage infrastructurePerform regular security audits and assist with quarterly SOX testingMonitor and troubleshoot server and storage performance issues, taking proactive measures to ensure maximum uptime and performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support various IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practicesProvide technical support and guidance to junior IT staff, assisting in complex problem resolution and fostering knowledge sharingStay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Windows Server, Vmware/virtual, and storage technologiesDevelop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, system configurations, and standard operating procedures This job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position.  Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or equivalent in years of relative experience 
 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environmentProficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and server virtualization (VMware)Experience with Exchange Online and email security gatewaysStrong knowledge of storage technologies, such as Pure and NetappUnderstanding of system/network monitoring applications, such as SolarwindsExperience with O365/Entra ID, including the integration with SSO and MFA solutionsSkilled in the utilization of certificates, IAM, radius servicesSolid understanding of networking protocols and services such as TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPNsKnowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, databases, and systems in relation to IT Security and IT RisksStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issuesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levelsAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing companyAbility to meet deadlines The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
