Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

Stellar Solutions is seeking a GPS IIIF Integration Engineer to provide systems engineering, integration & testing leadership across space and ground segments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring successful delivery, transition to operations, and milestone execution for the next generation of GPS capability. The ideal candidate will also:

    Lead endtoend Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) for Global Positioning System (GPS) IIIF across space and ground segments; drive crossfunctional execution and documentation.
  • Plan Satellite Control Authority (SCA), Transition to Operations (TTO), and satellite operations; manage givers/receivers, risks, and decision briefings.
  • Build integrated schedules; plan and execute milestones including Operational Acceptance (OA), Initial Operational Capability (IOC), and Full Operational Capability (FOC).
  • Communicate effectively with government clients, stakeholders, and contractor teammates.

Required skills:

  • 7+ years Department of Defense (DoD) space systems engineering, integration, and test.
  • Experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira; SCA/TTO planning; integrated planning/scheduling; milestone planning (OA, IOC/FOC).
  • Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills; high motivation and mission focus.

Additional desired qualities and compentencies:

  • 10+ years SE&I; sustainment contract experience; GPS segment knowledge; familiarity with DoD 5000.01.
  • Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP)/Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP)/Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)/Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP);

Clearance & additional requirements:

  • Clearance: Secret; Top Secret (TS) Desired
  • Education: Bachelor's degree; Master's degree Desired
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Location

This position is full-time, on site in El Segundo, CA

The typical salary range for this position is USD $135,000 - $185,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all in addition to salary).

Deliverables will be in the format of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction.
