Position Title: Production Line Lead
Wage: $28.00 - $32.00/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm (Monday - Friday), 2:00pm - 10:30pm (Monday - Friday), 10:00pm - 6:30am (Sunday - Thursday) This Production Line Lead role is based in Random Lake, WI and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fast-paced production line. The position involves supervising and training employees, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and troubleshooting equipment or production issues to keep operations running smoothly. The Line Lead will also handle line setup, changeovers, and documentation while maintaining compliance with GMPs and regulatory requirements. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential to motivate the team and drive productivity. Candidates should bring prior manufacturing experience, with supervisory or lead experience preferred, along with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment. This is a hands-on leadership role that plays a key part in ensuring efficiency, quality, and team success. Production Line Lead Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operation of a production line in a fast-paced manufacturing environment - Enforce safety, GMPs and quality standards - Train, guide and motivate production line workers - Set up, operate and troubleshoot production line equipment - Ensure production goals, efficiencies and quality standards are met - Handle line changeovers, monitor equipment and maintain documentation - Maintain cleanliness and support sanitation efforts - Identify and implement process improvements - Complete required paperwork accurately and timely Requirements for Production Line Lead: - High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred - 3-5 years of manufacturing experience; experience in food & beverage preferred - 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred - Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) - Able to communicate effectively in English - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Flexible to work overtime, weekends and changing shifts - Able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks - Able to complete Food Safety Training (Qualified Individual) sheboygan@qpsemployment.com IND045 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
