How you will make history here... As part of the Campbells Technical Engineering Group, provide technical expertise in the area of Process Systems. This position has the responsibility to independently support and execute engineering projects across the Meals & Beverages and Snacks Divisions. What you will do...
- 60% of time - Lead and manage the execution of capital projects including completion and/or oversight of detailed design, coordination and oversight of construction activities and manage action items and associated follow-ups.
- 20% of time - Develop scope, cost, schedule and other detailed information in the development of capital projects.
- 10% of time - Managing and communicating capital project budgets, schedule status and managing POs, invoices, accruals and forecasting.
- 10% of time - As Process SME, support plant programs, troubleshooting and other plant support functions
- Plays a role in the management of capital dollars associated with process systems for authorized projects and programs ranging from $300,000 to $3,000,000. Effectively performs medium to high level complexity engineering projects and tasks.
- Advances technical aptitude regarding process systems by leveraging the knowledge of higher-level practitioners and/or formalized training.
- Understands and analyzes manufacturing systems, both new and existing, to improve performance.
- Develops conceptual and preliminary engineering documentation such as rough order of magnitude project estimates, estimates for preliminary engineering costs, block flow diagrams and layouts for ingredient preparation, delivery and blending systems. Creates specifications and engineering services "Requests for Proposals" for the execution of capital projects.
- Utilizes Campbell's Engineering equipment design standard & principles and Engineering Project Delivery Process.
- Coordinates, manages, and reviews contractor and vendor activity. Interface with plant personnel ensuring plant buy-in and compliance with plant and corporate standards.
- Effectively tracks project scope, schedule, and cost with the ability to convey information in a timely and effective manner to the project team and stakeholders at varying level within the Campbells organization.

- 3+ years plant and/or project experience

- Proficiency with MS Office applications including Project.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Possess analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to understand and analyze process systems and equipment, using data to drive decisions. Experience with mass & energy balance and heat transfer.
- Experience with equipment specification and selection.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and assignments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey information to professional and operations personnel to accomplish assignments.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with internal and external partners.
Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $93,800-$134,800
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
