City/State: Yonkers, New York Grant Funded: No Department: MIT - Security Operations Work Shift: Day Work Days: MON-FRI Scheduled Hours: 8:30 AM-5 PM Scheduled Daily Hours: 7.5 HOURS Pay Range: $120,000.00-$150,000.00 Requirements include: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat intelligence, incident response, or security operations. Demonstrated hands-on experience with threat intelligence platforms and tools is essential. Proven experience in analyzing and assessing cyber threats, including understanding the adversary's mindset and attack vectors. Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Maltego, ThreatConnect, Recorded Future, CrowdStrike, Anomali, etc.). Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including network security, endpoint security, and cloud security. Familiarity with threat actor profiles, TTPs, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and data analysis. Knowledge of malware analysis and reverse engineering techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions. Experience in developing and maintaining indicators of compromise (IOCs). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to produce clear, concise, and actionable threat intelligence reports. Strong presentation skills for communicating intelligence to diverse audiences. Expertise in OSINT techniques and tools. Ability to identify and evaluate credible sources of threat intelligence. Experience in dark web research and analysis. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience. *Preferred: Master's Degree in Cybersecurity or related discipline.
