Local Class A Driver

Pay: $21 per hour

Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM start time. Working approximately 50 hours a week. May work some Saturdays as well.

Essential Functions:

* Performs complete pre-trip and post-tripinspectionsincluding, but not limited to, checking tire pressure, fluid levels,safetyequipment, gauges and controls.

* Courteously interacts with customers, dispatchers, and supervisors.

* Completes required route/productivity sheets, Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs) and other forms.

* Performsdrivercheck-in procedures upon returning to the facility at the end of the day Follows allsafetypolicies and procedures as well as attend weeklysafetymeetings.

* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Valid Class A withair brakesendorsement

* Must meet Waste ConnectionsDriverMVR Qualification Standards.

* Ability to performphysicalrequirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

* Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check and Department ofTransportationPhysical.

* Must be able to read and fill out necessary paperwork completely.

* Communicate clearly to customers,dispatcher, and supervisors.

Work Environment:

* Work independently while driving transfer semi truck on route

* Routes must be completed daily in all weather extremes including extreme hot or cold, wet or dry conditions

* Work hours will vary by route.
