Position description

Teach lecture courses designed for junior/senior physiological science majors. The courses should use physiology and disease mechanisms as pedagogical tools to develop higher-order knowledge of basic scientific concepts, integrating concepts from genetics, molecular and cell biology, physiology, and biochemistry. Duties include planning and coordinating discussions and other class activities for courses; managing the acquisition and maintenance of course materials; developing computer applications for the classroom; supervising course teaching assistants; advising student projects; and maintain office hours.

Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in the life sciences with a strong publication record in cell and tissue biology; demonstrated experience in undergraduate and graduate teaching at the university level. Level of appointment and salary commensurate with qualifications, experience and duties.
