Position Description:
ThinkTek is seeking a Business Analyst with AWS experience and an active Secret clearance to support a cloud migration initiative. The Business Analyst will work closely with the lead AWS Engineer and program stakeholders on SIPRNet cloud implementation and migration efforts. This role is responsible for requirements gathering, documentation, compliance tracking, and facilitating communication across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities:

  Partner with the lead AWS Engineer to capture, document, and manage requirements for SIPRNet cloud migration and AWS landing zone implementation.

  
  
• 
  

  Support tracking and documentation of DISA/DCSA security controls, Citadel CI/CD integration, CDS requirements, and DevSecOps processes.

  
  
• 
  

  Develop clear documentation including user stories, system enhancement requirements, process flows, security compliance records, and CDRLs.

  
  
• 
  

  Facilitate communication between technical teams, program leadership, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.

  
  
• 
  

  Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and status updates for leadership reviews.

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain requirement traceability and support validation/testing activities.

  
  
• 
  

  Document troubleshooting actions and resolutions alongside the engineering team.

  
  
• 
  

  Provide business and process analysis to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement during cloud migration activities.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  
  
• 
  

  3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, cloud, or federal consulting environments.

  
  
• 
  

  Familiarity with AWS cloud services, landing zone concepts, and cloud migration.

  
  
• 
  

  Experience creating clear technical and functional documentation for federal programs.

  
  
• 
  

  Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.

  
  
• 
  

  Strong communication skills with ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  
  
• 
  

  Proficiency with collaboration and requirements tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel).

  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  

  AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher-level AWS certification.

  
  
• 
  

  Experience supporting SIPRNet, DISA/DCSA compliance, or federal cloud security requirements.

  
  
• 
  

  Prior experience supporting DevSecOps initiatives in a government environment.

  
  

Clearance Requirement:

• 
  

  Active Secret clearance required.
