Engineer (Project, Process or Manufacturing)
Education:
*Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
*Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
*Bachelor of Science in Operations or Industrial Management
Experience:
*Minimum Five (5) years as Engineering Technician.
*0 to 20 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
*Prefer minimum 3 to 6 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
*Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
*Proficient use of the Autocad.
*Demonstrated proficiency in equipment troubleshooting.
*Demonstrated proficiency in problem solving
*Provide technical assistance for inquiries from Customers, Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing.
*Demonstrated effective communication skills across all levels of the organization and with vendors.
*Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
*Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
*Ability and willingness to perform operator and maintenance training as required.
*Ability to document procedures and write work instructions.
*Follows up on corrective action involving repair or enhancement of equipment.
*Perform tests on randomly selected parts or processes to ensure equipment is both safe and operating properly.
*Ability to effectively work with operations, maintenance, engineering and vendors.
*Works with and makes decisions with a sense of urgency.
*Develop, analyze, justify, plan, schedule and successfully implement capital projects up to $1,000,000 in spending.
*Effectively manage capital project budgets and manage projects to meet expected project timing.
*Possess the ability to analyze existing operating methods, identify opportunities for improvement and implement to improve safety, efficiency and/or quality.
*Utilize data to make informed decisions that lead to quality, efficiency or productivity improvements.
*Effectively identify, justify and implement LEAN projects in area of responsibility.
*Active team member of a TPM team or teams. Provide technical assistance and support to team.
*Utilize sound engineering principles.
*Possess and demonstrate good organization and planning skills.
*Daily support of operations in your area of responsibility.
*Actively evaluate equipment layout improvements or optimizations. Implement these improvements.
*Actively pursue new technology or equipment enhancements to improve our manufacturing processes.
*Seek annual training and knowledge enhancement.
*Willingness to work overtime when required.

*AutoCAD
*Microsoft Office Suite
*SAP experience is a big plus - not required but would be a big value add.
