Job Summary:
Under general direction and guidance, is responsible for ensuring that all quality attributes for assigned programs are carefully monitored and satisfactorily controlled to comply with Company and customer contractual requirements, specifications and drawings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide adequate oversight and control that assures all raw materials, component details and finished products in the supply chain supporting a given program are procured and/or manufactured in accordance with engineering and quality requirements.
- Manage supplier interactions, work with new product development programs, and ensure appropriate supplier compliance to Arrowhead and Customer quality requirements.
- Develop and clearly communicate Arrowhead expectations for product quality, product engineering requirements, quality performance, continuous improvement, quality systems, and process control to suppliers.
- Develop Supplier Improvement Plans, coach suppliers in best practices in quality systems, process controls methods, problem solving and statistical tools.
- Maintain Supplier KPI's and provide regular reports on Supplier performance
- Conduct Supplier audits and qualification activities and maintain records of supplier qualification and approval/disapproval.
- Interact with suppliers and manufacturing support groups in the detection and resolution of quality problems. Determine and implement effective correction actions as required to avoid repeat non-conformances.
- Obtain any necessary MRB authorities
- Issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests, review and approve SCAR, coach suppliers when needed on good problem-solving methodologies.

Education and Experience
- Requires B.A./B.S. degree, or at least three years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Quality Systems, or Supply Chain
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is preferred.
- Aerospace or Automotive experience preferred.

- Experience with APQP tools, including PFMEA, Control Plan, and Measurement System Analysis
- Experience with FAIR
- Experience with problem solving tools (8D, Practical Problem Solving)
- Understanding of Aerospace industry and associated regulatory requirements and standards (AS9100)
- Experience in New Product Introduction and interaction between Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain in product development
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings/blueprints.
- Sound organizational and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated strength in decision-making.
- Capable of multi-tasking with sufficient ease to meet multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated effectiveness working across organizational levels.
- Ability to analyze and develop work instructions, to perform sound root cause analysis, and to perform process mapping.
- Proficient with manufacturing processes and controls.
- Must be accurate and detailed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in use of computer applications including MS Office Suite

- Travel Requirements - up to 25% travel to Supply Chain
