Position Summary

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about supporting Army training and working as a team.

The selected candidate will work at the National Simulation Center's Regional Simulation Center SCIF.

What You'll Do



  • Perform Cybersecurity related tasks in accordance with DoD Directive 8140.01 Cyberspace Workforce Management.
  • Maintain system compliance as required under RMF (Risk Mitigation Framework)
  • Perform vulnerability assessments using Army approved tools , STIG, checks and Government provided baseline compliance tools to maintain the BoE.
  • Perform other ISSO duties as required by the contract Performance Work Statement.
  • Travel is not required for this position


Requirements and Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or an associated discipline preferred.

  • 5 years experience within the past 10 years, in planning simulation exercise architectures, supervising implementation of communication systems, and integration of Army Mission Command Systems in support of distributed exercises.



  • At least 5 years experience supporting like sized IA teams and projects.


  • IAM Level I / IAT Level II Certification required

  • At least 4 years experience in information security, particularly in roles that involve securing sensitive or classified information systems.



  • At least 4 years experience as an ISSO (IA) providing systems administration & security for JLCCTC UE, WARSIM, and other MCIS and Simulation systems, and JLCCTC RM, Tactical Communications Support Processor (TCSP), and any other cross-domain security devices that function with the SECRET and TS SCI Enclaves.



  • Knowledge and understanding in providing Contractor Special Security Monitors (CSSM) for UE to monitor, operate, and oversee GSC JLCCTC RM, TCSP, and any other cross-domain security devices that function with the SECRET and TS SCI.



  • Knowledge and familiarity with DoD security standards and regulations such as NIST, FISMA, and RMF (Risk Management Framework).



  • Experience and proficiency in security technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption technologies, and more.



  • Experience conducting security risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and manage overall security risks to information systems.


  • US citizenship with an active Top Secret security clearance.
