Overview QuarterLine (QL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals providing high-quality rehabilitative care to our nation's service members and their families at Moody Air Force Base near Valdosta, Georgia. Schedule: Monday through Friday, no more than 40 hours per week, excluding holidays or closures, (flex schedule between 0700-1800), with a non-billable lunch hour. No telework available at this time. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
Carry out a program of corrective exercise and treatment for assigned patients, as directed by the physical therapist. Under supervision, administer such treatment as exercise, gait training, massage, whirlpool, hot packs, diathermy, ultrasound, paraffin, ice packs and traction. Instruct patients on segments of the program including proper use of wheelchairs, crutches, braces, and prosthetic appliances and devices.
