JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to Project Managers while on assigned projects, directs and coordinates production efforts through assigned supervisory personnel and subcontractors. With the guidance of the Project Manager, helps establish aggressive production schedules and budgets, and ensures that plans, goals, and requirements are being met. Achieves goals by collaborating with team members to establish plans for successful execution of work. The Superintendent 1 is an entry level Superintendent position. The scope of responsibility for this entry level Superintendent position is commensurate with that of smaller, less complex projects. With progressive training, development, and experience, the Superintendent 1 can be entrusted with projects of increasing size and complexity. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to tour all vessels, piers, docks, and work sites to perform the duties of this job. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. (Ability to view computer monitors without eye strain for extended periods of time).
