Position Overview The VP, Account Director (Direct Marketing)will work closely with other account directors and all departments in the agency, including project management, media, production, brand planning and creative, to ensure we maintain the highest quality creative work. With direct client contact and reports, they will have the polished communication skills needed for a smooth, effective trust-based client-agency relationship. The successful candidate will have appreciable hands-on knowledge of, and practical experience in, the direct marketing discipline, contributing to campaign strategy based on client objectives, authoring creative briefs, managing audience(s) development (data acquisition, management, and processing), evaluating campaign response, and contributing to the print/production and direct mail processes. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, amicable, a strong collaborator with the ability to juggle multiple projects. For this VP, Account Director position, the successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. The salary range for this position is below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience and qualifications.
