Sr. UX Designer, Consumer

As a member of the UX Design team, you will be at the forefront of transforming thedigital experiences for Tesla's vehicles and energy products across the globe. Youwill be responsible for designing the Tesla vehicle and energy order experiences.You will collaborate with sales teams, product owners, designers, engineers, globalpartners and will be a key contributor and originator. You will conceptualize, design,measure impact and implement best-in-class digital experiences to help ourcustomers discover and order a Tesla with confidence and excitement. • Research and define UX strategy, contribute to the overall product and design direction from a concept to implementation
• Develop creative and innovative design solutions for product education and purchase experiences that help guide various types of customers from different backgrounds and with different requirements
• Constantly measure how designs are performing for target customers; iterate and improve those experiences as needed
• Work in a highly collaborativefashion with engineers and other partners; invest in building relationships and trust with stakeholders
• Present work to partners, stakeholders, and senior leaders regularly
• Define and share Tesla UX design standards and guidelines

• Bachelor's degree in the study of design, or portfolio that shows equivalent project experience
• 3+ years of experience designing interactive applications for web
• An excellent portfolio showcasing user experience, visual design, and UI work with a strong design sensibility and excellent, user centric story telling
• Excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills, ability to think through complete interaction design
• Customer-focused, with experience using design research methods to uncovercustomer insights
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high stress iterative design process under minimal supervision
