Equipment Engineer Intern

Location: Bloomington, MN| [On-Site]

Employment Type: Temporary - 12-13 weeks

About the Role

The Equipment Engineering Intern-FEOL- Supports the documentation and improvement projects for Equipment Maintenance in the FEOL section. This role will focus on semiconductor manufacturing, equipment engineering, Power BI, and working within a highly technical team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with WINSQL database and reporting to develop Power BI dashboards.

  • Working with Equipment Engineers to improve existing documentation or put new documentation in place.

  • Gain firsthand knowledge of equipment repairs and improvements (daily maintenance activities, installs, CIP projects).

  • Drive continuous improvement projects to improve equipment availability, reduce cost, and improve team efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications
Required:

  • Students working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, or other semiconductor/manufacturing related fields.

  • Technical writing skills.

  • Ability to effectively and clearly communicate concepts, ideas, and knowledge to other individuals and teams.

  • Strong attention to detail including analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • MS Office capabilities.

What We Offer:

Salary: $25.50 - $32.20 per hour. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.

Benefits & Other Eligible Compensation: Includes 401(k) plan and paid time off.
