About the role: As a Senior Infrastructure Engineeryou will provide the United States Space Force (USSF) Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) for the Defensive Cyber Operations - Space (DCO-S) program by developing software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring installed hardware and software systems, assisting with network tap design and system survey to ensure data is properly sampled and transported, evaluating existing systems and assists with technical refreshes and lead and/or assist with hardware installation and software deployment at mission system sites. The Project Engineer will become familiar with all installation and configuration guides, as well as provide feedback to the documentation team when redlines are needed. The Project Engineer will be responsible for cultivating a detailed understanding of end-to-end system architecture to ensure the seamless deployment and integration of defensive cyber operations capabilities.
