Client Engagement Manager

The Client Engagement Manager (CEM) is an integral part of the sales team, working with our largest customers and is responsible for the end-to-end success of Insight programs and leading weekly client interactions and engagements within Insight's Go To Market (GTM) Division.

About the role

As a Client Engagement Manager you will be leading onsite meetings with clients, partnering with the sales and operational teams on client concerns, recommending best practices, working closely with the clients to ensure they are satisfied with their Insight services, and acting as the focal person for escalation. This individualized touch reinforces the relationship and shows clients that they are valued beyond just transactional interactions. Their focus on the account wide end-to-end Insight experience vs. Single projects is what differentiates this role.

  • Operate as a point of contact for all client sales/delivery matters.

  • Learn and understand the client's business, priorities, market opportunities and challenges,proactively communicate with sales teams on any issues.

  • Guide the client through thought leadership, innovation, and roadmap recommendations that align to their business plans and objectives and drive tangible, measurable value.

  • Research, analyze, record, communicate, and resolve client escalations and concernsand inform sales teams.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, MBA or Master's Degree preferred and/or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of account management and/or sales experience with a successful track record in selling high-end technical solutions and driving solutions growth within your account base.

  • Working knowledge of company products and services, professional training and certifications in sales, partner management, complex sales, sales methodologies, marketing tactics, negotiation, and financial analysis.

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, knowledge in channel management and solution sales.
