Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex IT development projects to completion on time, within budget, and with the assigned resources. The Senior Project Manager oversees the entire project and contract lifecycle, including roadmap planning, release management, and day-to-day operational oversight. The individual will have with strong skills in stakeholder communication, scope and risk management, and both written and verbal communication.



Responsibilities

    Lead the team to secure, managing risks, addressing vulnerabilities, and protecting confidentiality, availability, and integrity of data.

  • Manage project milestones and deliverables to meet business, functional, and non-functional requirements expressed as user stories, as well as user expectations Ensure documentation and code are uploaded and maintained in the appropriate repositories (e.g.Enterprise GitHub CCR, SharePoint, Jira).

  • Provide tactical project leadership in daily operations while ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Oversee the timely delivery of artifacts and work products as defined in this PWS and Deliverables section.

  • Provide excellent stakeholder management through clear and concise communications, organizational effectiveness, time management, and leadership.

  • Prepare and deliver technical documentation, leadership presentations, and project briefs.

  • Lead IT projects/programs of comparable size and complexity using an established SDLC methodology, including documentation and decision point reviews.



Qualifications

  • Proven success managing large, complex IT development projects within federal or enterprise environments.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Experience managing project roadmaps, release planning, and contract lifecycles.

  • Familiarity with repositories and tools such as GitHub, SharePoint, and Jira.

  • Experience leading teams in a secure environment with adherence to federal IT security standards.

Citizenship and Security Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, only U.S. Citizens will be considered for this position. The successful candidate must be able to pass a background investigation and successfully obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance as a condition of employment.



Target Pay Range

The below listed pay range for this position is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The final offered salary will be influenced by a host of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
