Transformation enables the organization to drive complex and transformational programs through disciplined project/program management and change management strategies. IT Program & Project Management applies Information Technology knowledge and experience to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for complex projects within the Information Technology function. This family organizes project teams, establishes project schedules and individual responsibilities, and determines resource requirements. This job family manages project budgets and reports on the status of project cost, timing and staffing. IT Program & Project Management also ensures adherence to internal external quality standards and integrates vendor tasks and deliverables into project plans. Job Summary Seeking a Director-level Program/Project Management professional to lead an effort to stand up a new SAP ERP for Cardinal Health. At its core, this role will be instrumental in creating the execution roadmap, corresponding budget and successful deployment. Responsibilities * Create a multiyear execution plan, stakeholder engagement and budget & forecasting. * Manage, mentor and coach workstream PMO resources. * Engage with stakeholders to mitigate risks and maintain scope. * Successful integration and deployment of program with the following focus: o Provide portfolio reporting and oversight o Identify escalations and resolutions o Qualifications * 12+ years of experience preferred * Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred * Waterfall & Agile methodology experience strongly preferred * PMP certified preferred * Strong stakeholder management skills * Project Director experience in highly matrixed environments * Acquisition and/or integration experience preferred * Proven track record of successful program deployments (on time, on budget) What is expected of you and others at this level * Utilizes broad and deep knowledge to develop innovative new business practices, policies and procedures * Contributes to the development of department strategy * Works on or may lead highly complex projects of large scope * Projects are typically cross-functional and have significant and long-term impact * Provides solutions which set precedent * Negotiates complex or risky technical business issues on behalf of the company * Independently defines project establishes budgets identifies participants and mitigates risk * Consults with management to determine project objectives with long-term implications * Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues *Skills* Stakeholder management, executive level program mgmt experience, transformational program experience, SAP, ERP program experience *Top Skills Details* Stakeholder management,executive level program mgmt experience,transformational program experience *Additional Skills & Qualifications* *Has managed large scale transformational programs from start to finish* *Not afraid to get in the weeds even though this is program director level* I have gotten confirmation from my business sponsors that we need to ensure candidates are either local or can be in the office for portion of their time during this engagement, whether weekly for a few days, every other week, and moments that matter, e.g. kickoffs, mocks, testing, deployments, etc. Preference is Ohio based or someone good with driving in every other week/once a month etc. -Kristin *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $110.00/hr.
