Position Overview:

The UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) Analyst/System Administrator is responsible for supporting the configuration, maintenance, and daily operations of the UKG Pro WFM platform (formerly UltiPro/Kronos). This role ensures system accuracy, compliance, and integration with HR, Payroll, and Operations systems. The position requires strong technical skills, knowledge of workforce management processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.

What you'll do:
  • Configure and maintain UKG Pro WFM modules including Timekeeping, Scheduling, and Absence Management.
  • Manage and update pay rules, work rules, accruals, and scheduling patterns.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, data errors, and integration exceptions; escalate when necessary.
  • Conduct audits and validations to ensure system accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and patch validation.
  • Maintain user security roles and permissions to support compliance and audit requirements.
  • Assist with interfaces and integrations between UKG Pro WFM and other systems such as Payroll, WorkJam, and HRIS.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports and queries using SQL, Cognos/BI, and advanced Excel.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Operations to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Research and apply UKG product enhancements and best practices.
You should apply if you bring:
  • Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, HR, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting UKG Pro WFM, Kronos Workforce Central, or similar workforce/timekeeping systems.
  • Strong understanding of timekeeping, pay rules, accruals, scheduling, and labor compliance.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data queries, and advanced Excel.
  • Familiarity with APIs, SFTP, and middleware integrations (e.g., Dell Boomi, WorkJam).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in multi-location or union/non-union environments.
  • Experience with UKG reporting tools (Cognos, BI).
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements such as FLSA and local labor laws.
  • UKG certifications or progress toward certification.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $75,000 - $102,344 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
