Overview The Work Management Configuration Team is seeking an energetic Senior Specialist to provide application support to users with the Business Applications (Work Manager, Field Manager, Asset Manager, Scheduler, Central Configuration, and the OBIEE Oracle reporting suite) and associated technologies used to support the Company's WMS Infrastructure. The Senior Specialist will work with business users, engineering, and System Administrators for interfaced applications, to identify, analyze, and prepare configuration requirements to correct known defects or to implement system enhancements based on business requirements while leading all forms of functional testing for the Business Application and associated interfaces. The candidate will support training and provide support for the Business as needed.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Provide application support to business users with the Business Application (Work Manager, Field Manager, Asset Manager, Scheduler and the OBIEE Oracle reporting suite) and associated technologies used to support the Company's WMS Infrastructure.
- Work with business users to prepare requirement analysis for implementation of new system's enhancements.
- Develop and maintain system requirements and works to ensure core user functionality is included in the system design.
- Manages and coordinate system defect resolution within the Business Application throughout the development and production lifecycles.
- Manage vendor relationships, technical interfaces and system functionality between Business Application and associated test utilized by business organizations.
- Manage Business Application configuration and support the configuration management change process.
- Implement recommendations and enhancements to Business Application configuration or performance based on business requirements.
- Lead all forms of functional testing for the Business Application and associated integrations through the system lifecycle.
- Assist with management of financial entities within WMS to ensure costs are allocated to the correct activities, L2/L3, and budget category CAP/RET/OM
- Coordinate with EBS, Accounting, Property Records, and FP&A to set up new, and resolve issues related to budgets, POETs, and activities.
- Assist with maintenance of the L2 and the IDX cross reference tables
- Manage configurations to Interface with HR and resolve employee data discrepancies
- Manage configuration of Work Calendars and Shift Patterns
- Manage configuration of Crew Codes
- Manage configuration of new user profiles (as necessary)
- Primary SME to resolve support tickets for the Central Configuration application
- Perform yearly user access audit
- Assist with maintenance of the Compatible Unit catalog
- Assist with maintenance of the Compatible Unit work tasks times and RE hours to enable calculation of productivity metrics.
- Assist with maintenance of the EBS Counter Code Unit table
- Assist with maintenance of the labor rates for each resource class by region based on the budgeted yearly cashflow
- Perform complex data analysis
- Clearly articulate technical issues and concepts to business users, application support and vendors.
- Develop readiness plans for system functionality change and introduction as well as training material.
- Coordinate technical system support to Electric Operations business users as required.
- Function in a leadership capacity in the absence of the Team Lead.
- Provide oversight of contractors performing development and enhancement work on Business Applications.
- Provide training and support for the Business as needed
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of relevant work experience is required or
- Associate's Degree and 5 years of relevant work experience is required or
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant work experience is required

Additional Physical Demands
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able and willing to work overtime and travel within Company service territory if needed during company emergencies.
