Job Description

The Program Manager plays a critical role in managing customer relationships and ensuring timely delivery of critical aerospace components. Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, this individual is responsible for overseeing past-due customer orders, developing milestone plans, and driving cross-functional efforts to meet delivery commitments.

A key focus of the role is delinquency recovery, identifying root causes of delivery deviations and deploying corrective actions to improve planning and operational performance. The Program Manager will track delinquent orders, build and execute burndown plans, and maintain on-time delivery metrics. They will also support expedited order management and new program launches.

Success in this role requires strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across departments to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary liaison for assigned customers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear, consistent communication.
    • Provide timely updates on order status, including critical, delinquent, and expedited parts, as well as first article inspections.
  • Order & Milestone Tracking
    • Develop and maintain milestone plans and line-of-balance charts for critical part numbers.
    • Monitor progress against milestones and proactively address delays or risks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Delinquency Recovery & Corrective Action
    • Lead efforts to reduce delinquent orders by collaborating with supply chain and operations teams.
    • Conduct root cause analysis to identify reasons for delivery deviations and implement corrective actions to improve planning and operational performance.
    • Build and execute a delinquency burndown plan with daily/weekly tracking and reporting.
  • Expedite & On-Time Delivery Support
    • Support efforts to maintain on-time delivery performance by tracking expedited orders and ensuring commitments are met.
    • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to meet customer expectations for new programs and urgent requests.
  • Cross-Functional Communication & Problem Solving
    • Facilitate open communication between internal teams and customers to identify obstacles and develop actionable solutions.
    • Ensure all stakeholders are informed of progress, risks, and successes.
  • Professional Collaboration
    • Maintain cooperative and professional communication across all levels of the organization.
    • Provide customer support to mitigate risks and ensure satisfaction.

Required Skills:

  • Industry Expertise
    • Strong understanding of aerospace industry standards, practices, and customer expectations.
  • Technical Proficiency
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
    • Ability to create and interpret line-of-balance charts, milestone plans, and performance reports.
  • Communication & Presentation
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to internal teams and external customers.
    • Proactive communicator who can articulate needs, results, and risks effectively.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement solutions collaboratively.
    • Experience in root cause analysis and deploying corrective actions to improve operational outcomes.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Capable of prioritizing tasks and maintaining focus under pressure.

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years' experience

Level of Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • MBA is highly desirable

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $80,000 to $110,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
