2nd Shift Position*** 2:30 - 11 pm M-F and Saturdays as required
POSITION SUMMARY
The lead person is responsible for coordinating and overseeing department activities and functions in order to perform shipping, receiving and inventory functions. The lead person ensures processes are being followed according to standards and schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
*Maintain constant communication with the supervisor to coordinate work assignments to meet customer demands and shipping schedules
*Assist employees by solving problems, answering questions, reviewing quality, and training employees
*Responsible for shipping, receiving and inventory
*Assists in the coordination of truck arrivals and dock assignments
*Create and review productivity reports
*Drive continuous process improvement
*Drives inventory accuracy
*Operation of material handling equipment
*Adheres to company policies, procedures and safety standards and maintains a clean work environment
*Other duties as assigned by Leadership

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required;

MANAGEMENT:
None

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
*4 plus years of experience working in a distribution center
*SAP Experience preferred
*Experience training other individuals on job duties
*Certified for operating material handling equipment
*Certified to work at heights
*Basic math and computer skills to perform distribution functions
*Knowledge of Safety and Health policies and promotes a safe and positive work culture
*Continuous improvement knowledge

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
In this job, you will often stand, walk, and use your hands to handle objects and tools. You may also need to sit, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Good vision is required, including close, distance, and peripheral vision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in a warehouse environment
