Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Business Process Analysis: Serve as the primary bridge between manufacturing operations and IT, analyzing existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for technological improvement.

* Project Leadership: Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of advanced manufacturing technology projects (e.g., Task Management platform, Sector Keeping implementation) using agile (Scrum/Kanban) and traditional project management methodologies.

* Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with shop-floor leaders, engineers, and operators to gather, translate, and document business requirements for new technology initiatives.

* Solution Design & Implementation: Partner with IT development and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications. Coordinate the implementation, testing, and rollout of new systems.

* Data & Analytics: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., using Power BI) to monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights into operational performance.

* Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication across all project stakeholders, providing status updates, risk assessments, and performance metrics to leadership.

* Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by staying current with emerging manufacturing technologies (Industry 4.0, IIoT) and proposing innovative solutions to business challenges.

* Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery on time and within scope.

* Documentation & Training: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including process maps, project charters, and user guides. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new technologies.

* Vendor Coordination: Liaise with software and technology vendors as needed to support project goals.

Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.

* Experience: 5+ years of experience in leading technology projects, with a strong focus on digital transformation, process optimization, or systems implementation. Experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environment is highly desirable.

* Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certifications are strongly preferred. ITIL or other technical certifications are a plus.

* Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

o Proven experience managing cross-functional projects from planning to closure using agile (Scrum, Kanban) and/or waterfall methodologies.

o Strong ability to act as a liaison and effectively communicate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

o Solid understanding of risk management, process optimization, and the systems development lifecycle.

o Demonstrated experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SAS, Tableau).

o Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a high attention to detail.

o Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.

o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a significant asset.

o A strong desire to learn and apply new technologies to solve real-world manufacturing challenges.

o Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel between local plants as needed.
