Senior Web Analyst

PTC is looking for a Senior Web Analyst to join the Digital Marketing team, supporting the ptc.com marketing site with a special focus on e-commerce optimization. Through daily, weekly, and monthly reporting; running A/B tests; and collaborating on web optimization initiatives, this strategic role seeks to always be improving web outcomes to support our marketing initiatives and, most importantly, our users' experiences. Using dedicated web optimization best practices through the Growth-Driven Design methodology, the Senior Web Analyst will assess the performance of key KPIs on our landing pages, and hypothesize, implement, and test solutions to remove user friction and improve the web experience. This role will cover full site analysis and initiatives for reporting for all business units, but will have a particular focus on PTC store analysis and reporting. This role will also be responsible for all maintenance and management of Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console.

PTC.com is a highly interactive website serving several unique business units for the company, so quality experience with web data and analysis is critical to assess what's performing well, what's not working, and what steps we should take to improve performance.

This is an exciting role, as you will be working on one of the most interactive websites in the Industrial space. Considering that ~70% of the buyer's journey happens in the digital space, this is a strategically critical role for PTC. Our current search visibility score is 3X that of our competitors-join us in our mission to make the website even more customer-centric, personalized, and optimized for conversion!

This role sits in the Digital Experience Marketing organization and works closely with the UX/UI designers as well as our Strategy and Marketing Analytics teams.

Day-To-Day:

  • Assess performance of key landing page KPIs to find areas of opportunity or reproduction at scale
  • Report on web performance, updates, improvements, and areas of opportunity
  • Evaluate heat mapping performance with Mouseflow
  • Develop strategy and execution of A/B tests to improve experiences with VWO
  • Run strategic user testing on new designs and experiences to gather qualitative insights
  • Identify, evaluate, and propose digital experience improvements based on successful performance KPIs
  • Perform root-cause analysis on dead-end experiences or areas of user friction
  • Produce web performance reports for key marketing stakeholders
  • Maintain dashboards and filters for scalable reporting with the Marketing Analytics team
  • Regularly communicate with Digital Marketing leadership and web strategy teams to discuss direction, strategy, and priority
  • Manage, maintain, and debug all tags and triggers in Google Tag Manager

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • 2-5 years of experience with web data analysis and KPI assessment
  • Creative thinker willing to test extensive ideas and apply learnings to future activities
  • Knowledge of web best practices
  • Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • An understanding of website/user data, SEO optimization, and analytics capabilities
  • Strong technical documentation and analytics reporting skills * Strong communication skills for both technical and strategy conversations regarding the web as well as data report outs to stakeholders

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in marketing analysis
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in web strategy, UX/UI, and user research in a corporate environment
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in marketing
  • Minimum of 2+ years working in and/or managing Google Tag Manager

Basic Qualifications:

  • Reporting and analysis skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, and Qlik/PowerBI
  • Experience with or interest in heatmapping tools and data
  • Some understanding of user experience best practices
  • Ability to be in commute into Boston on a hybrid model minimum 2-days a week
