Position Summary:
The Sales Director - Americas will lead regional sales across the U.S., and Canada, and driving sustainable revenue growth through both direct sales and a network of indirect channels and distribution partners building high-performing sales teams, optimizing channel performance, and operating within technologically complex markets such as life sciences, specialty chemicals, and photonics. This posiiton will preferrably located in Pittsburgh but could be a remote position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the regional sales strategy to meet growth targets and profitability objectives;
Lead and coach a geographically dispersed sales team to exceed regional revenue goals;
Manage and expand relationships with key distributors, agents, and channel partners to drive market penetration;
Partner with Marketing, Product Management, and Business Units to align sales activities with new product launches and customer requirements;
Maintain strong executive relationships with key customers and strategic accounts;
Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to strategic planning and pipeline development;
Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities and adjuststrategies accordingly.

Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years managing regional or multi-country teams;
Demonstrated success in managing indirect channels, VARs, and distribution partners;
Background in technology-based industries such as photonics, life sciences, specialty chemicals, or related manufacturing sectors;
Strong strategic acumen with the ability to translate business goals into actionable sales plans;
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or technical degree preferred;
Willingness to travel up to 50% across the Americas region.
