  Perform hardware and firmware integration of next generation Tesla industrial energy storageLead and own hardware/firmware validation, board debug, root-cause analysis, hardware/firmware mitigations, and firmware regressionDevelop and execute test plans to validate functions, features, and system performanceDesign and implementing test infrastructure as buck setup or HIL platform to break down system level validation into sub-system level validationWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure functional, performance, and safety requirements are successfully achievedConduct failure analysis to understand root cause and drive resolution for failures originating in testing and from the fieldDrive continuous improvement in design and performance by providing direct and accurate feedback to design ownersHands-on with hardware bring-up and prototypingWhat You'll Bring
  
  Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience3+ years of experience in electronic design, integration, and testing In-depth understanding of HV/LV electronic components (active and passive) and expertise in developing associated characterization/validation testing methodsStrong understanding of device characteristics, gate driving circuit design, thermal design, magnetics design (inductors, transformers), power electronics topologies (AC/DC, DC/DC & DC/AC), modulation schemes, and control theories, including analog & digital circuits (MOSFETs, op-amps, regulators, microcontrollers, etc.) Familiarity with networking and digital communication protocols (JSON RPC, TCP/IP, CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, etc.)Experience with Altium or other schematic entry and PCB layout softwareExperience with Python, C, C++Proficiency with basic EE tools (scopes, network analyzers, power supplies, electronic loads, CAN tools)Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, able to identify and surface issues within complex hardware/software systemsEffective communicator and excellent attention to detailCompensation and Benefits
