Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Global Account Manager to support our global engagement with Ford Motor Company, one of our most critical automotive customers. Reporting directly to the Global Sales Manager - Ford, you are responsible for driving growth, strengthening relationships, and delivering innovative automation solutions that support Ford's manufacturing transformation worldwide.

You will work in a hybrid setting from our Troy, Michigan office location.

• Customer Ownership: Act as one of the primary interfaces for Ford Motor Company globally, managing relationships across engineering, purchasing, and operations.
• Strategic Execution: Support and execute the global account strategy developed in collaboration with the Global Sales Manager - Ford, ensuring alignment with Ford's business objectives.
• Revenue Growth: Identify and develop new business opportunities across Ford's global manufacturing sites, contributing to revenue targets and account expansion.
• Solution Selling: Collaborate with technical teams to position automation solutions that address Ford's manufacturing challenges, including robotics, controls, and digitalization.
• Global Coordination: Work cross-functionally with regional sales teams, product management, and service organizations to ensure consistent delivery and support across geographies.
• Commercial Management: Assist in contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and proposal development in coordination with the Global Sales Manager.
• Customer Advocacy: Represent Ford's voice internally, ensuring their feedback informs product development and service enhancements.
• Market Insight: Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and Ford's strategic direction to proactively adjust account plans.

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivelant Years of Relevant Work Experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visa, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• A valid driver's license.
• A valid passport (the ability to travel internationally to customer sites).

• 5+ years of experience in account management or sales within the automotive or industrial automation sectors or comparable.
• Experience working with or selling to Ford Motor Company is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and automation technologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel globally up to 30%.
• Familiarity with Ford's global manufacturing footprint and decision-making structure.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, and sustainability initiatives.
• Experience in managing cross-regional teams and customer engagements.
