CNC Machine Operator - 1st Shift Cudahy, WI Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM $18/hour to low $20s, based on experience We are seeking dependable CNC Machine Operators to join our team on 1st shift. This is a great opportunity for candidates with basic CNC experience who are looking to grow in a supportive manufacturing environment. Operators will be responsible for running CNC machines, performing basic quality checks, and supporting production goals. This is a hands-on, entry- to mid-level role that does not require full programming or advanced setup experience. Perfect for someone with a mechanical mindset, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) to produce parts to specification. Monitor machine cycles and make minor adjustments as needed. Use micrometers, calipers, and other hand tools to perform in-process inspections. Read basic blueprints or work instructions to understand job requirements. Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all company safety guidelines. Report any equipment or quality issues to supervisors promptly. Assist with basic machine setup or tooling changes as trained. Qualifications Prior experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with inspection tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Ability to read and follow basic technical drawings or blueprints. Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around machinery. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
