Description Job Description Menu Programming Position Description: Menu Design and Programming: * Configure the menu layout on the Aloha POS system to match the business's specific offerings, such as food, drinks, and specials. In a quick service environment * Program buttons and touchscreens for ease of use by staff, including item categories, custom modifiers (like size, add-ons), and quick-access options for popular items. System Maintenance and Updates: * Perform regular updates to the menu when new items are introduced, or existing ones are removed. * Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to menu programming. Integration with Other Systems: * Integrate the Aloha POS with other business tools, such as accounting software, inventory management systems, or customer loyalty programs. * Ensure that the system is capable of handling orders for both dine-in and takeout, potentially syncing with online ordering platforms. Key Skills Required * Experience with Aloha POS and understanding of its configuration and customization options. * Strong technical skills in POS programming and database management. * Problem-solving ability to troubleshoot and fix system issues quickly. * Experience with system integrations, such as third-party delivery platforms * Good communication skills to train staff and work closely with management to meet business goals.
