The General Utility Operator will work across multiple properties, operating machinery, performing general upkeep, and taking on a variety of tasks to support operations. The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a General Utility Operator to work at our Bolt operation in Norvell Township, MI. Pay: $20.00/HR Benefits Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(K) with 3% Employer Contribution, Long- and Short-term Disability Tuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programs Student Loan Repayment Program Employee Referral Program Responsibilities The Utility Operator will: Operate skid steers, tractors, forklifts, and other equipment for material handling and stockpile maintenance. Perform cleanup and general upkeep across multiple properties. Carry out landscape maintenance, such as mowing, weeding, and brush clearing. Repair and maintain fences, gates, and other structures as needed. Travel between various properties to support operations. Conduct routine pre- and post-checks of equipment to ensure proper upkeep. Assist with basic construction projects when required. Perform any related duties as defined by the Manager. Skills The ideal candidate will have: Ability to lift up to 50 and sit, stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, climb, or crawl under or on top of equipment or at elevated heights Ability to use three-point and four-point contact methods to climb heavy equipment (e.g., tractors), ladders, and scaffolding Ability to work in environments with noise and varying temperatures Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Knowledge of equipment such as skid steers and tractors Basic mechanical aptitude A valid driver's license and a willingness to obtain a CDL To Apply Please submit a resume.
