About the role

Overview

Work Location: Florham Park, NJ

Work Schedule: 3 days in office 2 days from home

What you will do

• Churn Analytics: Analyze customer retention trends and develop insights to reduce churn. Identify patterns and drivers of attrition to inform business strategies.
• National Accounts & Broker Support: Provide analytical support for national accounts and broker management teams, including sales performance tracking and reporting.
• Automation & Dashboarding: Design and maintain automated reports, dashboards, and visualization tools (primarily in Power BI) to improve business intelligence capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into analytical requirements.
• Support ad-hoc analytics projects to help drive customer growth and retention.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting tools.
• Work closely with IT and analytics teams to optimize data pipelines and automate manual processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience or coursework in Power BI (or similar visualization tools like Tableau or Looker).
• Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of relational databases (or willingness to learn).
• Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and interest in process automation.
• Strong communication skills for presenting insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Attributes

• Curiosity to understand the "why" behind data trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Interest in sales analytics, customer retention, and business strategy.
• Exposure to Python or R for data manipulation and automation (a plus, not required).
