JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of food samples to our laboratory testing facility. This key role, will work with the Courier Drivers by providing oversight and direction, scheduling and dispatching routes, picking-up client samples, maintaining an account of company property, and clerical support duties.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for assisting with maintenance of the company facility according to established schedules.
- Ensure couriers maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer service.
- Plan and schedule pick-up routes to ensure efficient services to our clients.
- Review courier work product to ensure that collections and deliveries are completed according to specification requirements; Certified, Client, and FDA Standard Operating Procedures.
- Adhere to proper accident reporting procedures according to company policy.
- Provide excellent customer service satisfaction to the clients.
- Maintain vehicle and all other property of Certified Group assigned to couriers.
- Maintain Enterprise Fleet maintenance and gas receipt records.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance to ensure timely and routine preventive maintenance.
- Work closely with the laboratory management and staff.
- Present vehicles for repair, service, or adjustment whenever such is needed, and preventative maintenance when time is due.
- Must follow the Company Driving Policy, as well as all applicable state and federal driving laws.
- Assist with managing priorities and schedule such that individual goals as well as team goals are achieved with encouraged participation in the Certified Group Team.
- Responsible for the safety of oneself and others working within their area.
- Responsible for the completion of required training.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Associates degree with administrative/customer service experience.
- Logistics, routing, and map reading skills is preferred.
- Experience in a laboratory and/or logistics is a plus.
- Training in general laboratory practices is a plus.
- Will have a current, valid driver's license issued in the State of operation
- A driving record with no DUIs or major moving violations or accidents within the past 60 months
- Demonstrated professionalism, dependability, and initiative in prior work experience
- Aptitude for technology and innovation
- Ability to routinely lift (up to) 60-pound boxes.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must have excellent communications skill and a client focused mindset.
