This position is in the UCDH Information Technology Business Operations (ITBO) team, reporting directly to the Director of IT Business Operations. The ITBO department supports the business functions of the IT division, including IT Procurement, IT Finance, IT Space Planning, Workforce Management, Communications, and IT HR. The IT division has 500 employees, and a combined operating and capital budget of ~$200M.
The Supervisor, IT Procurement is responsible for oversight and performance of critical business functions in the procure-to-pay cycle for UCDH IT, including IT Procurement, receiving, vendor and contract management, maintenance agreement record keeping, vendor relationship management, forecasting spend, and strategic guidance. This working supervisor will supervise a team size of 3.0. Requires a high degree of collaboration with the ITBO team, our customers in IT (Health System, Schools of Medicine and Nursing, Research), our partners in Purchasing and Finance, as well as peers at UC Health and UCOP.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
- Experience providing business operational services in a large organization with annual budget size > $100 million.
- Supervisory or Lead experience including recruiting, training, coaching, and writing performance reviews.
- Experience with Business Contracts and contracts management: Master Agreements, SOWs, BAAs, and other common documents in the purchasing process.
- Experience with procurement processes, RFx creation and management
- Experience as a project lead or project manager for small to large projects
- Experience supporting a matrixed organization and directly interacting with senior leaders, directors, executives.
- Experience in IT Procurement including standard Maintenance Agreement record keeping.
- Process Improvement skills (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean)
- Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Highly organized, Excellent communicator
- Exercises judgment, tact and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information and situations.
- Is reliable and can be counted on for deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an academic or healthcare environment
- Experience with University of California procurement policies and procedures
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Experience with Infor Lawson or similar ERP system
- Experience supporting IT contracts assets; knowledge of ITSM.
- Experience with financial management functions including accounting and budgeting.
- Experience with SharePoint site administration
- Experience within the UC environment related to purchasing and compliant standards
- Experience with Capital Asset Procurement and Vendor Relationship Management
- Experience within the IT field with a focus on Infrastructure, Applications, and Data methodologies.
- Experience creating dashboards and presentable data for executive leadership.
