The Principal Global Employment & HR Compliance Advisor, serves as a senior subject-matter expert and trusted advisor on global employment practices and HR compliance. This role provides strategic counsel and hands-on execution to ensure the company's people practices are legally compliant, ethically grounded, and aligned with business objectives worldwide. The advisor partners with HR, Legal, and business leaders to mitigate risk, integrate employment considerations into organizational change, and ensure consistent global practices adapted to local requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Global Employment Strategy & Compliance

    • Advise on, develop, and maintain global employment policies and HR programs that align with business objectives and comply with labor regulations.
    • Monitor international employment law trends and proactively recommend updates to policies and practices.
    • Partner with Legal, HR, and regional leaders to ensure compliant and consistent employment practices.


  • Mergers & Acquisitions / People Integration

    • Provide expertise on employment-related aspects of global M&A, including due diligence, workforce transitions, and compliance risk assessment.
    • Contribute to playbooks and frameworks for scalable, consistent integration of people processes.


  • Governance & Risk Management

    • Shape and support global compliance frameworks related to employment, workplace practices, and workforce governance.
    • Assist in implementing monitoring, reporting, and training programs that reduce risk and promote accountability.


  • Advisory & Partnership

    • Act as a senior advisor to the CPO, People partners, and organizational leaders on complex global employment matters.
    • Collaborate with regional HR teams to tailor global strategies to local contexts while ensuring alignment and compliance.




Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Skills



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or related field required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 10+ years of HR, legal, or employment compliance experience in global organizations.
  • Deep knowledge of international employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in policy development, compliance program implementation, and cross-border HR initiatives.
  • Proven expertise in supporting employment integration during mergers, acquisitions, or organizational transformations.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and regions.


Travel Requirements



  • Up to 25% travel required.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
