Job Description:

  • The Danville Health Department is seeking a temporary administrative support professional to assist with front-office operations. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in computer applications, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Role & Responsibilities :

  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Greet and assist customers in person.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
  • Organize and purge records as needed.
  • Monitor and manage office inventory.
  • Perform general clerical duties to support daily operations.


Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Prior experience in an office setting, including customer service and phone handling.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, fax machines, scanners, phones, and calculators.
