As a Coordinator, Creative department, you will play a key role in supporting the team to help our artists deliver music to their fans. You will provide administrative and project support to the head of Creative and help with the day-to-day management of assigned artist projects as well as aid in the coordination of content development. The position requires interaction with members of senior management and other high-level internal and external contacts.


What you'll do:

  • Act as administrative support for the SVP of Creative by managing calendars, compiling agenda items for media strategy meetings, and monitoring important label documents, etc.
  • Maintain media budgets by reviewing and processing budgets & invoices, setting up vendors, generating purchase orders, and processing expenses for department leads
  • Manage & maintain media department resources (research and maintain contact database, advance weekly media alerts and recaps, event calendar, television updates, assist media leads in writing, updating, and maintaining their media tools)
  • Act as support to additional Creative coordinators when needed by attending artist meetings, taking notes, and helping oversee next steps on projects
  • Prepare and support coverage of artist-related events (concerts, release parties, award/television shows, interviews, photoshoots, Sony Music Live Events and more)


Who you are:

  • A self-starter with experience providing administrative support in a music, lifestyle, entertainment, or creative industry (preferred)
  • A creative team member with demonstrated experience and understanding of the current marketing and media landscapes as well as digital platformsA detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills and proficiencies in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Canva, Podchaser, MuckRack, etc. are a great addition!
  • An adaptable person that is flexible and able to learn new duties and adjust to new situations within a reasonable amount of time.
  • An accountable individual who can demonstrate accuracy in meeting deadlines; accomplishing work in order of priority; working on multiple priority tasks simultaneously while producing excellent results; maintaining composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions.
  • A music afficionado with a working knowledge of the country music industry and pop culture events (CMA, ACM, Grammys, and more!) (preferred)

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
