Compliance Manager

The Compliance Manager is responsible for partnering with organizational leaders to provide direction and guidance related to WellSky's compliance programs. The scope of this job includes managing compliance and regulatory matters related to healthcare and privacy to ensure overall compliance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, revise, and maintain inventory of compliance policies and procedures consistent with changing state and federal compliance requirements.
• Effectively partner with business units on WellSky policies and procedures relating to state and federal compliance laws and regulations.
• Support the development, implementation, and communication of compliance controls and documentation within the businesses.
• Develop and maintain systems to support monitoring and reporting regarding compliance program activities to the WellSky Compliance Committee.
• Perform routine or extensive incident investigations, including documentation of reported incidents, root cause analysis, remediations, and corrective action plans.
• Assess current processes and documentation to recommend improvements.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• At least 4-6 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare IT experience
• Experience using OnSpring or a similar GRC tool

Job Expectations:

• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
• Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
• Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
