MaineHealth is currently seeking a Senior Nurse Leader for Post-Acute Care to provide strategic and clinical leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based nursing care aligned with the health system's mission and goals. This role champions patient advocacy, staff development, and interdisciplinary collaboration while driving continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and seamless care transitions across the Post acute continuum of care.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years nursing leadership experience in a post-acute or Health Care setting with electronic health record (HER) experience.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education:Master's degree in Nursing (MSN), Health Administration, or a related field
  • License/Certifications: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience:Minimum of 5 years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in post-acute or long-term care settings.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements Required:Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:DNS-CT (Director of Nursing Services-Certified) from AAPACN or PAC-NE (Post-Acute Care Nurse Executive) certification
