The team

We are seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team.

The role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, with at least five years of relevant experience. This role will be instrumental in providing actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving operational efficiency.

Financial Planning & Forecasting



  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year financial plans.
  • Collaborate with business units to align financial projections with operational goals.
  • Monitor variances against budgets/forecasts and provide insightful commentary.


Financial Analysis & Reporting



  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
  • Analyze revenue, cost drivers, margins, and operational KPIs to identify trends and risks.


Business Partnering



  • Partner with operational, commercial, and corporate teams to provide financial guidance.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align financial insights with strategic priorities.
  • Advise stakeholders on cost optimization, investment opportunities, and performance improvement.


Data & Process Management



  • Maintain and enhance financial models, ensuring accuracy and scalability.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline FP&A processes and reporting tools.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.


What you'll bring

Required



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or similar finance role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred



  • MBA, CFA, or CPA designation.
  • Fully remote operating in EST. Must be based in North America



As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $120k-$125k base+ bonus.

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Digital Services bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
