Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.). They are, however, covered by Worker's Compensation provisions.
However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. Any non-permanent employee hired to work less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions or designated as variable hour worker - i.e. student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. Minimum Experience/Education |
Education/ Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |

- Experience working with high school and college age students
- Experience with project management or even coordination
- Proficiency with Canva for creating promotional materials
- Familiarity with Slate CRM or similar CRM systems

Duties and Responsibilities |
We're seeking a dynamic, organized professional to join our team as the Engineering Visit Experience and Event Coordinator. This position is a vital member of our recruitment and outreach team, with responsibilities spanning student leadership, event logistics, and office operations.
Student Ambassador Coordination
- Lead and support a team of Engineering Student Ambassadors who conduct tours Tuesdays through Fridays
- Manage scheduling, communication and training to ensure smooth operations
- Foster a positive, inclusive community, continuing to build on a structured model with lead ambassador rolls, ongoing training, and regular meetings.
Campus Visit and Event Support
- Coordinate logistics for Open House, Admitted Students Day, and group tours
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Admissions, faculty, staff, and external guests
- Ensure a seamless, professional, visitor experience.
Office Operations and Communication
- Oversee the daily flow of office activities, including supplies, shared inboxes, and visit communications.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for guests, faculty, staff, and students.
- Provide clear, timely, and effective communication.
