Job Scope

The Manager, Finance Transformation will be responsible for:



  • Serving as Project Manager for key Finance initiatives, including but not limited to; technology implementation, process harmonization, merger and acquisition support, and business support
  • Leading process harmonization efforts across business units, legal entities and finance functions across North America
  • Serve as key facilitator and assistant to Vice President Finance, North America



Key Responsibilities and Duties



  • Serve as project leader (PMO) for major finance projects, including Kaizen activities, technology implementations, M&A activity, any other projects as identified.
  • Drive Finance project funnel, from identification, to prioritization, to execution; working cross functionally within Finance and with broader organization as required.
  • Lead contact for all harmonization and implementation activities and efforts across various Finance functions and teams across North America.
  • Design and implement standard work to monitor and report on key project status.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and streamline accounting and finance procedures.
  • Own the end to end process mapping of key finance workflows.
  • Assist with driving compliance with IFRS and implementation of new standards.
  • Responsible for monitoring and prioritizing the continuous improvement of the North American Finance team.
  • Coordinate the regular preparation and reporting tied to overall functional performance and project status.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reporting requests, other analyses and special projects requested by management.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations of accounting transactions and procedures as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Work on special projects and other duties as assigned.


Education, Experience, Qualifcations:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Master's degree in Accounting or Business preferred
  • 5+ years Progressive responsible accounting experience
  • 4+ years Project Management Exposure / Experience
  • 4+ years Public accounting experience, Big 4 a plus
  • 2+ years Supervisory experience in accounting
  • 1+ years Experience in manufacturing environment
  • Certified Public Accountant Preferred
  • Self-starter, demonstrates initiative and ability to lead through change and complexity
  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization
  • Excellent skills in oral and written communication
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Detailed oriented, organized and has strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Must be capable of working both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Experience in Microsoft Vizio a plus
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office programs; high skill level in Excel)
  • 25-50% Travel will be required
