Overview Nakupuna Solutions is seeking a Travel Arranger. The Travel Arranger provides comprehensive support for all aspects of domestic and international travel within the bureau. They coordinate closely with leadership, travelers, and administrative staff to ensure compliance with travel policies, facilitate accurate documentation, manage travel systems, and support related financial and logistical needs. Their work helps maintain efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of travel operations across the organization. The Department of State's Bureau of Counterterrorism (CT) leads the U.S. government's efforts to counter terrorism abroad and to build the capacity of international partners to prevent and respond to terrorist threats. Administrative and Professional Support Services play a critical role in advancing CT's mission by providing operational, logistical, and programmatic support across a range of initiatives. These services ensure the efficient functioning of the Bureau by supporting policy coordination, budget and financial management, human resources, travel, procurement, and other essential administrative functions that enable CT to deliver timely, effective counterterrorism programming worldwide. The place of performance for this work is Washington, DC, and some travel may be required. Coordinate all travel arrangements for the bureau, with priority given to front office leadership, and assist with travel planning to ensure timely and accurate travel authorizations.
Qualifications Skills/Qualifications: The Travel Arranger brings strong organizational and customer service skills to support travel planning, event coordination, and administrative functions in a fast-paced setting. With the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, the individual contributes to smooth operations across the bureau. Experience with Microsoft Office and familiarity with travel systems and the Federal Travel Regulation further support the role's responsibilities. Education and Experience:
