- Assist and secure environmental and regulatory permits or authorizations necessary for timely construction and development of Projects within the USGC Terminals Region. This may include, but is not limited to: Title V permits, New Source Review (NSR) Permits, Permits by Rule (PBR), US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Section 401,404, 408 Permits, USACE Nationwide Permits (NWP), Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), water quality permits, and water rights permits.
- Coordinate, modifications, amendments, and renewals to environmental and regulatory permits or authorizations necessary for efficiency and growth of Operational assets within the USGC Terminals Region. This may include but is not limited to: Title V permits, NSR Permits, PBRs, USACE Section 401,404, 408 Permits, Multi-Sector General Permits (MSGP), and water rights permits, water quality permits and Texas Railroad Commission sump annual inspections & closures.
- Effectively communicate with a wide variety of USGC Staff to ensure permitting efforts are appropriate for immediate and future needs of the USGC Terminals Region.
- Provide general environmental guidance and best management practices to Project teams on how to remain in compliance with vegetation, wildlife, waste, water, soil, air, and stormwater matters.
- Oversee and audit the construction SWPPP programs at all active USGC Terminals Region Projects.
- Function as part of the USGC Terminals Region Health, Safety, Security, and Environment team need and cross training in the different disciplines.
- Complete special projects within the USGC Terminals Region, as assigned.
Who you are:
- Relevant university degree witha minimum of two years of environmental experience in pipeline, industry, or upstream oil and gas sectors.
- A self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills.
- The ability towork both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to comprehend diverse regulatory, scientific and technical issues.
- Communicate with a wide variety of people, to include employees, management, regulatory agencies, and the public.
- Professional certifications such as P.E., P.G., CHMM, ASP, or CSP are considered an asset.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
